McKean County is gearing up for celebrating our nation’s 250th Anniversary with a Grand Celebration Parade on June 20 in Bradford.
This celebration will feature school marching bands, dignitaries and emergency responders from every municipality, along with a special salute to our military veterans and active personnel.
It will also include floats from various Organizations, Non-Profits, and Businesses from all of our communities, depicting historic scenes, places, and people from around the county.
Special appearance in this grand celebration will be the U.S. Army Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps, the only unit of its kind in the U.S. armed forces.
Trophies for float entries will be issued for the best patriotic display of historic scenes, places, industries and people from around the county.
Anyone who wants to take part in this event can fill out the attached Celebration application and return it to the America250PA-Mckean County Headquarters at 80 E Corydon St by April 30.
