The man who escaped from Warren County prison and kidnapped an elderly couple was sentenced for the murder of Jamestown woman Monday morning.
37-year-old Michael Burham was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the murder of Kala Hodgkin.
Burham’s previous sentence of 25 to 50 years in Pennsylvania related to the kidnapping and escaping the Warren County jail will be served concurrently, meaning he will remain in Pennsylvania for now but can be brought to serve out his New York sentence after 25 years.
