No injuries were reported after a fire early this morning at American Refining Group.
At about 4AM, Bradford City Fire Department were dispatched to a second-alarm fire at the facility’s Platformer Unit when the refinery’s in-house Fire Brigade requested assistance.
Derrick City Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched as the Rapid Intervention Team with the Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department on standby.
The fire was reported under control by about 5a.m., but the city remained at the refinery around 9 a.m. in an abundance of caution.
