The Cattaraugus County Nonprofit Hub, a countywide initiative dedicated to strengthening collaboration, capacity and impact within the nonprofit sector, announced that its first convening will take place on Thursday, March 26 at St. Bonaventure University in the Reilly Center’s Hall of Fame Room.
Launched in October 2024, the Nonprofit Hub serves as a vital platform for nonprofit organizations to connect and learn from one another. Powered by the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, the Nonprofit Hub is supported by key partners including CRCF, the United Way of Cattaraugus & Allegany Counties and the Dr. Lyle F. Renodin Foundation.
Bob Forness, president and executive director of Olean Business Development, will present on the CATTalyst Collective, a collaborative team of Cattaraugus County business and entrepreneurial support organization leaders united under one vision: to grow Cattaraugus County’s business community and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The group recently demonstrated its impact by contributing $5,000 to The Elevate Fund at CRCF, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening nonprofit capacity through community-driven solutions.
In addition, this team has now launched its initial 3 programs – the CATTalyst Spark Fund, the CATTalyst OJT Program and the CATTalyst Main Street Program.
Forness will share how the CATTalyst Collective is mobilizing resources, encouraging leadership and helping build momentum for long-term community growth via entrepreneurship and small business support.
Katarina Manuse, director of network development at WNY Integrated Care Collaborative, will present on how Medicaid members may be eligible for essential health-related social needs services, such as food, transportation, hosing and Social Care Navigation.
Through the WNY Social Care Network, Medicaid members can connect with WNY Integrated Care, or one of its Social Care Network partners, to be screened and steered towards available resources.
The meeting will be held in the Hall of Fame Room at St. Bonaventure University on March 26 from 12 to 2 p.m. Food and light refreshments will be served free of charge.
