McKean County President Judge John Pavlock recused himself from the death-penalty case against a Bradford man accused of raping and killing his 2-year-old son last August.
The recusel stems from concerns that actions Pavlock previously took as a McKean County prosecutor “may have relevance in this action.”
Tyler Prescott also had a change of council recently as his last lawyer stepped down after Prescott accused of him conspiring with the District Attorney without any evidence.
Prescott is facing charges of Homicide, Rape Of A Child Resulting Serious Bodily Injury and several other sexual felonies after allegedly killing his toddler son.
The last day to plead in the case is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday.
It has not yet been stated what Judge will preside over the case.
