Children’s Ibuprofen Recalled

The FDA is recalling children’s ibuprofen after complaints an unusual gel-like substance and black particles.

Strides Pharma, Inc. is recalling over 89,000 bottles of Children’s Ibuprofen Oral Suspension, USP, 120 mL bottles manufactured for Taro Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc.

The recalled products have lot numbers 7261973A and 7261974A with an expiration date of Jan. 31, 2027.

This is a Class II recall, meaning exposure may cause temporary or medically treatable effects.
