It’s official — Aaron Rodgers is coming back to Pittsburgh.
The four-time MVP has agreed to a one-year deal worth up to twenty-five million dollars to return to the Steelers — and the reunion storyline doesn’t stop there. Rodgers will reunite with Mike McCarthy — his head coach for thirteen seasons in Green Bay — who now takes over as Pittsburgh’s new head coach following Mike Tomlin’s retirement.
Last season, Rodgers threw for twenty-four touchdowns against just seven interceptions, leading the Steelers to ten wins and an AFC North championship. He’s expected to be in the building when Pittsburgh’s OTAs open today.
A familiar quarterback. A familiar coach. A whole new chapter in Pittsburgh.
