A man was charged Wednesday for allegedly stabbing someone with a katana-style sword on the Bradford Walking Trail near Country Fair Monday night.
City of Bradford Police charged 43-year-old Adrian C Washington with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, terroristic threats and reckless endangerment.
The charges stem from city police responding to the outside of BRMC for a 911 caller saying they were stabbed.
The victim had walked to the hospital not knowing it had closed and had to call 911 for help.
The victim was transported by medical helicopter to the Penn Highlands DuBois for further treatment due to the severity of the injuries.
According to the victim, Washington initially left the area following an argument but later returned armed with a sword and allegedly stabbed the victim after a second verbal altercation.
Washington was remanded to the McKean County Jail p in lieu of $200,000 bail.
