A Salamanca man was arrested after a stabbing reported early Wednesday morning.
Salamanca Police charged 29-year-old Brett Williams with felony possession of a weapon as well as 1st and 2nd degree assault.
The stabbing allegedly occurred near River Street, where the victim was transported to Olean General Hospital via ambulance.
Williams was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.
Salamanca Police were assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s, New York State Troopers, New York State Park Police and the Seneca Nation Marshals.
