An Olean man was charged Monday evening with a theft reported in Allegany that afternoon.
New York State Police charged 37-year-old Joshua R. Pettygrove with petit larceny.
Upon arrest, Pettygrove was additionally charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
