Kaleida Health is moving forward with plans to close The Pavilion, the long-term care facility at the former Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Talks about a possible sale to LECOM fell through after LECOM’s board voted against the deal earlier this month.
The state has approved a new closure timeline, with The Pavilion shutting down by December first.
Forty-five residents currently live there, and Kaleida Health CEO Don Boyd says the company will work to place them in other facilities and help the eighty affected employees find new jobs, including at Olean General Hospital.
