A rough Homecoming night for the Bradford Owls. Port Allegany rolled into town and rolled right over them, winning 64-0 — the Gators putting up 24 points in the first quarter and 32 more in the second before Bradford could ever find its footing.
Port Allegany’s Kellen Veilleux led the way with 77 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 6 carries, and Brennan Fillhart added a rushing score and a touchdown pass. For the Owls, Tommy Langdon led the ground game with 20 yards, Keenan Miller added 26, and Lucas Wallace hauled in 7 catches for 32 yards through the air — but it wasn’t nearly enough to slow down the Gators’ attack.
The loss drops Bradford to 1-4 on the season, while Port Allegany improves to 4-1.
The Owls are back at it next Friday, October 2nd, on the road against Redbank Valley. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
