Hinsdale Man Charged with Stalking in Allegany

A Hinsdale man was charged early Sunday morning in a stalking case in Allegany.

Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 41-year-old Matthew Sperling with Stalking and Harassment.

Sperling allegedly placed a GPS tracking device onto the victim’s vehicle.

Sperling was released on own recognizance and is due to appear in Allegany Town Court at a later date.
