Attorneys for both 20 year old Krysten Crosby and 30 year old Kyle Moore filed pretrial motions asking to suppress their confessions and remove the death penalty from the table. Crosby and Moore are two of the three people charged in the 2020 kidnapping and murder of 19 year old Joshua Ramos in Potter County.
Crosby is scheduled back in court on September 7th, and Moore was due back on August 26th, but that date was postponed and has not been rescheduled. As for the third person charged, 24 year old Felicia Cary, no motions have been entered by her attorney at this time according to court reports and no court dates are available.
All three are facing charges of Murder in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree, kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, evidence tampering and criminal conspiracy to commit murder after they allegedly beat, humiliated, and then drove Ramos to a wooded area and left him in April of 2020. He was found 3 months later in July following a tip from an eye witness. All three are in Potter County Jail with no bail.
