A fire broke out this morning at the Metalico Scrap Yard on High Street in Bradford.
The fire was reported shortly after 8 this morning. Reports on the scene say that the fire started in a car in a pile of scrap and debris, which quickly spread throughout the pile.
Firefighters deployed hoses from cranes and excavators to dig through the pile to make sure the fire was completely extinguished. The fire was declared under control shortly after 10 AM.
No injuries were reported. The exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
