A man who stabbed another man during a fight in May has been sentenced to two years in New York State prison.
31-year-old Leroy Williams of Allegany stabbed 45-year-old Elmer Ellis in the abdomen with a 4-inch folding knife at Ellis’s home. Ellis was taken to ECMC in Buffalo for surgery and, at one point, was in critical condition.
At the time of the incident, police said Williams and his girlfriend, who was an acquaintance of Ellis, had been partying at Ellis’s home earlier in the day.
