A 130 year old Bradford business is closing its doors.
Candy Tingley, the owner of Graham Florist has announced that she will be retiring and closing the store after Christmas Eve, with a brief re-opening in the new year to liquidate remaining stock and fixtures.
The florist shop on Kennedy Street was started in 1891 by George Graham and has remained in the family ever since. Tingley has worked in the shop for 54 years and took ownership in 1985.
The family’s other business, Graham’s Landscaping and Greenhouse on East Main Street will remain open.
