We have an update on Sunday’s Congress Street shooting.
The victim of the shooting was 38 year old Edward Fomby Jr. of Buffalo, who was found deceased outside the residence with apparent gunshot wounds caused by the male resident outside the resident’s home.
District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer issued a statement that the City of Bradford Police are investigating the circumstances of the shooting including reports that an argument had occurred between the deceased and the resident that is alleged to have included threats of violence by the deceased. Reports include that the male resident fired what was described as “warning shots” and then fired at the decedent.
City of Bradford Police Chief Michael Ward asks that anyone with information to contact Police at (814) 887-4911.

And rite because now this man got away with it all I have screen shots of numerous of the shooters family threatening anyone who has anything nego to say or bring up Edward fomby…. My son as well got Snapchat “saying hey I heard no was your mom’s boyfriend good he deserves it” another message was to a kid telling him to meet him at the pop machine they had something or someone that wanted to meet him u don’t shoot someone 12 times as self defense u don’t be in a. Bar with guns then invite a ma’am to your house pick a fire with him tell him to leave follow him outside yell crazy things to him when he is pulling off naw it was clear to see it was planed the man knew exactly what he was doing an he knew how he could get away with it….not saying Edward fomby was rite he shouldn’t gotten out but no double clips needed to be drawn or even the house owner goin outside after Edward was leaving yelling obscene things so he would get out I don’t care this man is dead didn’t do anything to Rikki an didn’t deserve to be killed we all are suffering from this man s loss ok if things got out of hand u call the.
