Running back Najee Harris did not practice for the second day in a row because of an abdominal injury, and Benny Snell, who replaced him as the main running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night, was limited with a knee injury.
Snell rushed for a team-high 62 yards on 12 carries in the Steelers’ win over the Indianapolis Colts. He was one of several new additions to the injury report. However, practicing fully for a second day in a row was rookie running back Jaylen Warren.
Inside linebacker Myles Jack did not practice yesterday, and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi also was not on the field. As usual, defensive tackle Cameron Heyward was given a veteran day off.
Returning to practice fully was free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, and wide receiver/special teams player Miles Boykin. Among the players that were limited in practice were inside linebacker Robert Spillane, center Mason Cole and outside linebacker T.J. Watt.
Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon also missed practice for the second day this week with a lingering hamstring injury that has kept him out of three consecutive games.
