A Machias man was arrested for vehicle theft.
New York State Troopers investigating the theft of a vehicle from a residence in Machias in June of last year determined that 40-year-old Jason R. Rogers was responsible for the theft.
The vehicle was later recovered in West Virginia.
Rogers was arrested and released with an appearance ticket.
