A Cattaraugus man was charged after an alleged theft from the Elkdale Country Club.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department charged 29-year-old Steven B. Derk with felony burglary, felony grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
The charges stem from the alleged theft of chainsaws, leaf blowers and other tools from the Elkdale Country Club maintenance building, which were reported stolen on March 21.
Derk was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
