The planned Sheetz store in Lantz Corners is one step closer to being able to sell liquor. The Convenience store company was the top bidder for an expired restaurant liquor license from Keating Township.
Sheetz spokesman Nick Ruffner said that the company has been interested in that area of McKean County for some time, and company officials are eager to get into the Kane and Mount Jewett communities.
The store is expected to open in late September.
