The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development held a discussion in Port Allegany Thursday to get input from residents of McKean and Potter Counties for broadband Internet coverage.
The meeting was spearheaded by Nate Regotti, Who is subcontracted by the Pennsylvania broadband authority, to inform citizens of the five-year action plan allocating $1.2 billion to bring sustainable broadband to the area.
The meeting was also attended by representative Martin causer and McKean county commissioners Duffy and Kriener.
The window for application for broadband location areas closes Aug 9, With the money set to be allocated in January
