The Bradford teen accused in a fatal crash on East Main Street in July has pled guilty.
District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer announced that 19-year-old Darian Ramdin had pled guilty to charges of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, driving under the influence, fleeing and attempting to elude an officer, driving at unsafe speeds, reckless driving and possession.
Ramdin was free on $500.00 unsecured bail on drug charges on July 16th when he fled from Foster Township police during a traffic stop for not dimming his headlights. A high-speed chase followed, which ended when Ramdin lost control and struck a tree and utility pole, killing 21-year-old Wallace Easton and injuring a teen girl.
Ramdin will be sentenced on December 7th. He remains incarcerated in McKean County Jail.
