A Bradford man serving life in prison for drowning a woman and her infant in 2010 has requested a retrial.
52-year-old Waide Nolf is serving his sentence at State Correctional Institution at Albion after he pled no-contest to murder and involuntary manslaughter in the deaths of Tonya Haight and her three-week-old daughter on March 19, 2010, in their Pleasant Street home.
Nolf wishes to have a retrial because he claims he was denied DNA test results in his original trial.
A hearing on Nolf’s Post Conviction Relief Act petition had been set for last week in McKean County Court, but was rescheduled for 1 p.m. July 12.
13 years is not life…
He should have received 2 consecutive life sentences
