Four people were arrested in Wellsville Thursday in connection with an alleged stabbing incident and following a search of a residence.
According to Wellsville Police, 28-year-old James M Lee was charged with felony assault, weapon possession, and tampering with physical evidence, stemming from an alleged stabbing that took place at a residence on Brooklyn Ave.
After executing a search warrant at that residence, Wellsville Police also arrested 41-year-old Deonte D Smith and 30-year-old Devon C O’Hara on bench warrants out of Wellsville Court and charged 28-year-old Boliver man Wade D Wilkerson with misdemeanor obstruction.
Police report seizing a large, unspecified quantity of drugs from the residence. Lee, Smith and O’Hara were transported to Allegany County Jail pending arraignment, while Wilkinson was processed and issued an appearance ticket
