For the Pittsburgh Steelers, their season once again comes to a disappointing end. In the wildcard playoffs Saturday night, they lose to the Baltimore Ravens, 28-14.
The Steelers dug themselves such a big hole, 21-0 at the half. Quarterback Russell Wilson said they just didn’t make enough plays. “I think the big thing is we didn’t make enough plays in the first half, you know, for whatever reasons,” said the Steelers QB. “And you’ve got to watch the film and see what it is. But, you know, I thought our mentality, especially in the second half, and just we weren’t giving up, you know. And that’s why I’m proud of these guys in this locker room, how we went and approached it, even though we were down, you know, we gave ourselves a chance. And a little glimpse of hope, you know, for a while there. And we battled. And guys didn’t quit. Guys gave it their all every play.”
Word also coming out of Pittsburgh that long time Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin will remain with the team.
