A Genesse man and an Allegany woman were arrested after a traffic stop in Allegany late Monday night.
New York State Police charged the driver, 47-year-old Michael P. Scholl, with driving while intoxicated and charged the passenger, 31-year-old Ashley L. Spencer, with four separate counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Scholl was released to a third party and Spencer was issued an appearance ticket.
