An Olean man was arrested on several charges after a bicycle stop in Allegany early this morning.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 34-year-old Michael C. Lathrop with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminally Use of Drug Paraphernalia.
The charges stem from deputies locating Lathrop riding his bicycle on Route 417 and realizing he had an active bench warrant out of the City of Olean Police Department from a prior drug arrest.
Following the arrest, Lathrop was found to be in possession of suspected crystal meth, Lortab, packaging materials, and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.
Lathrop was issued and appearance ticket.
