An Olean resident faces sex abuse charges.
According to New York State Police, 20-year-old Mason Baire was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with first degree sexual abuse for contact with forcible compulsion, which is a felony, as well as a charge of acting in a manner injurious to a child under the age of 17, which is a misdemeanor.
Baire was taken to central arraignment pending further investigation.
