A Jamestown woman was arrested Wednesday, following the seizure of over 7 pounds of meth after a large-scale narcotics investigation of a Barrett Ave apartment.
Deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office charged 37-year-old Cassandra M. Chadwick with two different felony counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia.
The arrest stems from a coordinated effort between the Sheriff’s Office, the Jamestown Police and the Dunkirk Police resulting in the seizure of about 7.7 pounds of methamphetamine, 5.5 grams of fentanyl, scales, packaging materials used for drug distribution and nearly $1,200 in U.S. Currency.
Chadwick was taken into custody and will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.
