Olean Medical Group (OMG), a Kaleida Health organization, is expanding access to advanced foot and ankle care in the Southern Tier through new surgical and nonsurgical procedures now offered by Dr. Brandon Rogers, fellowship trained podiatric surgeon.
With specialized training in complex limb preservation and ankle reconstruction, Dr. Rogers now provides a wide range of advanced procedures. His expertise enhances OMG’s ability to treat conditions such as lower extremity trauma, deformities, arthritis and diabetic limb complications—all close to home.
Patients can now access comprehensive treatment options including trauma of the ankle, calcaneal and talus fracture repairs; Achilles tendon rupture repair; reconstructive surgery such as flatfoot, cavus foot and posterior tibial tendon dysfunction; arthritis management for ankle and foot joint fusions, joint injections; diabetic limb preservation: wound care, Charcot foot and ankle reconstruction; as well as other minimally invasive procedures for bunion correction and arthroscopic ankle surgery.
“With these advanced ankle procedures, our region now has access to a higher level of foot and ankle care all under one roof,” said Dr. Rogers. “Patients can receive comprehensive treatment for even the most complex conditions right here in Olean, eliminating the need to travel for specialized care.”
Dr. Rogers is certified in foot and rearfoot/ankle reconstruction by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and holds advanced ankle surgical privileges granted by New York State.
“Dr. Rogers’ advanced training directly supports Olean Medical Group’s mission to provide our patients with the best medical care delivered with dignity, compassion and respect,” said Chris Strade, chief executive officer, Olean Medical Group. “By expanding access to specialized foot and ankle procedures, we’re strengthening our commitment to meet the growing needs of our community and keeping that care close to home.”
Dr. Rogers joined OMG in 2022.
