A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the Bradford and Warren areas from Wednesday evening through Friday evening.
The McKean County Department of Emergency Services made a Facebook post that heavy lake effect snow is possible for McKean and Warren counties with total snow accumulations up to 6 inches or more possible and wind gusts as high as 40 mph.
The department is asking residents to plan on slippery road conditions, widespread Thanksgiving holiday travel disruptions and gusty winds may produce areas of blowing and drifting snow.
