An Olean man is facing numerous charges after allegedly leading deputies on a car chase from Salamanca to Great Valley Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 39-year-old Paul Tyler Jr. with reckless endangerment, unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, felony possession of a controlled substance and multiple traffic violations.
During the pursuit, officials said a passenger jumped out of the vehicle and ran before Tyler lost control of the car on Route 417 and ended up in a ditch.
