Olean Medical Group (OMG), a Kaleida Health organization, proudly announces the retirement of three remarkable healthcare professionals who have dedicated decades of service to the community: Rosie Kaluza, LPN; Dr. Thaddeus Wojcik; and Dr. David Shulman. Their commitment to patient care has left a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals and families in the Olean area.
Rosie Kaluza, LPN, after an incredible 45 years in nursing, including 38 years at OMG, she has become the heartbeat of patient care. Known for her compassion, kindness and skill, Rosie has consistently treated every patient with dignity and reassurance, easing anxieties and providing comfort when it’s needed most. Rosie began her nursing career at St. Francis Hospital and has spent nearly four decades serving the OMG community. In retirement, she looks forward to cherishing time with her family, including her grandchildren and her beloved animals.
With 41 years of service at OMG, Dr. Thaddeus Wojcik, gynecology, has guided countless women through some of the most significant moments in their lives. His expertise, empathy and calming presence have made him a pillar of women’s health in the community. Beyond his clinical contributions, Dr. Wojcik has been a mentor and trusted resource to colleagues for decades. After retirement, he plans to enjoy time in his recently built home “sanctuary” and continue expanding his music studio, pursuing his passion for guitar.
Dr. David Shulman, primary care, has dedicated 35 years to providing steady, compassionate care at OMG. Often caring for entire families, his thorough knowledge and calm demeanor have been a source of comfort for both patients and colleagues. His dedication, including countless late nights and weekend hours, has not gone unnoticed. In retirement, Dr. Shulman looks forward to spending quality time with his wife, children and grandchildren with plans to find a “hobby”.
