Residents of the North First Street apartment building in Olean evacuated after a fire broke out Thursday afternoon in a second-floor apartment.
Olean City Firefighters and Police responded to the scene at 1:55 with the fire under control by 2:04.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Love Thy Neighbor of Believers Chapel, a mobile response team that assists community members, also responded to help those involved.
