The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Panthers men’s basketball team dropped their second straight game, falling to the Penn State Altoona Lions in their 11th Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) matchup of the 2025-26 season. This marked the first time in over a month that the Panthers had suffered back-to-back losses.
Despite the defeat, five Panthers reached double figures in scoring. Xander Norris, Clarence Cobbins, and Maki Hill each poured in 13 points to lead the way. Cobbins delivered a strong all-around performance with a double-double, adding 11 rebounds to go along with two steals and two blocks. Niare Poplar contributed 12 points and five rebounds, while Coby Farley chipped in 11 points.
The loss moved Pitt-Bradford to 6-5 in AMCC play. The Panthers will look to bounce back with a non-conference home game on Wednesday, hosting Alfred State at 7 p.m., before returning to conference action on Saturday against Carlow at 4 p.m.
