CARE for Children’s Rainbow Corner Preschool will begin registration for the 2026–2027 school year for new students on Monday, March 16, 2026. Children who will be at least three years old by September 1 are eligible to enroll.
Tuition information and registration forms will be available to download at
www.careforchildren.info/what-we-do/early-learning/registration.html beginning Friday, March 13, or families may request or pick up a registration packet from the CARE office starting Monday, March 16.
Preschool registration materials will also be available at the Bradford Area Public Library’s Preschool Fair on Saturday, March 14, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Rainbow Corner Preschool staff will be present to answer questions about the program.
Rainbow Corner Preschool offers two session options: Five-Day Preschool (Monday–Friday, 8:00–11:00 a.m.)
This class emphasizes kindergarten readiness and STEM learning and is ideal for children who have previously attended preschool or who will enter kindergarten the following year. The class typically includes a mix of 4- and 5-year-old students.
Three-Day Preschool (Tuesday–Thursday, 8:00–11:00 a.m.) This class focuses on classroom routines, social-emotional development, and foundational school-readiness skills, including early math, literacy, and STEM. It is well suited for children new to preschool or families who prefer a three-day schedule. The class typically includes 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old students.
Completed registration forms and the registration fee may be mailed to CARE for Children, 723 East Main Street, Bradford, PA 16701, or dropped off at the Ashley Booth Griffin CARE for Children Center beginning Monday, March 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. After hours, materials may be placed in the mailbox next to the front door.
Registration for CARE’s Toddler Developmental Playgroup (children must be at least 24 months by September 1) will begin Monday, May 11, 2026.
Scholarship funds are available through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Program, made possible by the generosity of Pennsylvania businesses. The program’s income guidelines are designed to accommodate working families.
Rainbow Corner Preschool is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and the daily schedule aligns with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards. The program is part of CARE for Children’s early learning services for children of all abilities and receives support through a partnership with the United Way of the Bradford Area, helping keep tuition affordable for local families.
