A Cuba man has pled guilty in a federal case involving an extensive marijuana growing operation.
59-year-old Daniel S. Ackerman pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute 50 or more marijuana plants stemming from his arrest in October 2024 for growing weed in the former D.F. Stauffer Biscuit Co. on Farnsworth Road in Cuba.
Ana L. Maldonado-Delgado was arrested alongside Ackerman, and according to police, was an undocumented immigrant who was turned over to Border Patrol.
