The Yankees took care of business in San Francisco, sweeping the Giants in two games at Oracle Park this weekend.
Friday was a masterpiece — starter Cam Schlittler held the Giants to just one hit over five-plus innings, Aaron Judge launched a two-run shot, and Giancarlo Stanton added a solo blast in a dominant 3-0 shutout win. Saturday, Judge went deep again and Ben Rice drove in two more as New York took game two, 3-1 — David Bednar nailing down the save in both games.
The Yankees head to Seattle next, opening a three-game series against the Mariners Monday night on the West Coast.
New York is rolling early. Judge looks like Judge.
