PennDOT Removes Traffic Light To Surprise of Bradford Township

Bradford Township officials say they were caught off guard when PennDOT removed a traffic light at a hazard zone on Route 770. Township officials say they were not notified in advance and have since contacted state officials to express concerns. PennDOT has returned to the site and made improvements to existing safety devices, though drivers are urged to use extreme caution in the area. Permanent road repairs are expected to begin in July. Township officials say additional follow-up calls with PennDOT are planned.
