The New York Yankees pulled off a wild comeback Monday night, rallying to beat the Los Angeles Angels 11 to 10.
New York trailed for much of the game before erupting late, finishing with 13 hits and capitalizing on key opportunities down the stretch. The Yankees bullpen held just enough in the final innings to secure the one-run victory.
But the story of the night was Trent Grisham. Coming off the bench, Grisham delivered in a big way, launching two pinch-hit home runs — a rare feat — driving in crucial runs that fueled the comeback.
Offensively, the Yankees showed resilience, working counts and continuing to pressure the Angels’ pitching staff until finally breaking through.
With the win, the Yankees grab momentum in dramatic fashion as they continue the series tonight with the first pitch at 7:05pm EDT.
