The Yankees bounced back in a big way Tuesday night in Baltimore. New York evened the series with the Orioles, rolling to a 6-2 win at Camden Yards — and the offense that had been struggling? It showed up in a hurry.
The big blow came in the third inning — the Yankees erupted for five runs to blow the game open. Paul Goldschmidt was the story of the night — going two for five with a solo home run and an R-B-I. Trent Grisham was equally impressive, launching a three-run shot and driving in three total. Aaron Judge went two for five and reached base three times. Amed Rosario added an R-B-I, and Cody Bellinger drove one in as well.
On the mound, starter Will Warren picked up the win — going five-and-two-thirds, striking out six while allowing just two earned runs.
The Yankees and Orioles wrap up the series today in Baltimore — first pitch 1:05pm EDT.
