The City of Bradford Police found a dog in extremely poor condition on Hill Street on Friday.
While searching for leads on the dogs owner, a good Samaritan took the dog, later identified as ‘Tank’, came forward to take him to Orchard Park Animal Hospital.
In the latest update to the story posted to the City of Bradford Police Facebook page, Tank was seen by a vet and is undergoing care and getting meds for his skin condition.
He does need X-rays but that will be scheduled when he is more stable since he needs to go under anesthesia for that.
He is currently in care of a foster family who is nursing him back to health. Police have a lead on the identity of the owner and the investigation is ongoing.
