The City of Bradford Police Department has recently received numerous complaints regarding fireworks being discharged within the city limits.
Under Pennsylvania law, consumer fireworks may not be discharged:
Within 150 feet of an occupied structure without the permission of the owner, From or into a motor vehicle or building, Towards another person or While under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.
Most homes are well within 150 feet of one another in Bradford, making the discharge of fireworks unlawful in residential neighborhoods.
