A motor vehicle struck a runaway horse on Route 353 in Little Valley Tuesday afternoon.
After striking the horse, the southbound vehicle was then forced into the other lane striking a northbound vehicle head on.
Two adults and five children were injured in the crash and were taken to the hospital.
A third adult was also taken to the hospital due to being thrown off the runaway horse prior to the crash.
The collision is being investigated by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
