A Port Allegany man was sentenced in McKean County Court Thursday for beating a toddler.
32-year-old Garret Homell was sentenced to state prison for 2 to 5 years on charges of felony Aggravated Assault, felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Simple Assault and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
The judge recommended to the Department of Corrections that Homell not be permitted to have contact with the victim and also required him to submit a DNA sample.
He is not eligible for any early parole.
