The Salamanca Police Department is increasing its crime-fighting arsenal with the new SalamancaPD tip411 app.
This will allow residents to submit anonymous tips from their phone.
The Salamanca PD app is available to download for free on both Google play store and the apple store.
The app and tip411 are 100% anonymous, as the technology removes all identifying information before police see the tip information.
Those without a smart phone can still send a tip via their cell phone by texting COSPDTIP and their message to 847411.
