The Jamestown Police Department issued a curfew for people under the age of 16 on Wednesday due to a recent spike in teenagers committing crimes overnight.
In a post the department made on Facebook, they specifically say there has been an increase in teenagers committing criminal mischief, assaults, stealing and recklessly riding motorized bikes on the streets.
Teenagers cannot be out without a parent or guardian between 10PM and 6AM.
Parents, Guardians and those who have custody of these minors will also be held accountable by charging them with endangering the welfare of a child, being petitioned to the appropriate Court.
