A Bradford woman was charged after allegedly attempting to strike a man with a hatchet on Davis Street Monday.
The City of Bradford Police charged 41-year-old Amber Lee Tucker with simple assault with menace, terroristic threats and possession of a controlled substance.
The charges stem from Tucker and a man arguing with one another.
During the altercation, Tucker allegedly grabbed a hatchet and swung it at the victim while threatening to harm him. Fortunately, the victim was able to block the attempted strike.
A search after the arrest revealed Tucker was in possession of Methamphetamine.
Tucker was remanded to McKean County Jail on $25,000 cash bail.
